Texite Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Texite’s browser-based Word Counter, Case Converter, and Text Cleaner.

Using Texite

Texite is provided as a free text utility. You may use the tools for lawful personal, educational, editorial, and business tasks. Do not use the service to process or distribute unlawful content, disrupt the site, bypass security controls, or interfere with other visitors.

Review your results

Word and sentence counts can differ between software because languages, punctuation, Unicode characters, abbreviations, and hyphenation are handled differently. Case conversion cannot reliably restore every proper noun, acronym, brand style, or publication rule. Text cleanup follows the options you select and may remove structure that matters to you.

Review all results before submitting an assignment, publishing content, meeting a platform limit, using text in a legal or financial context, or replacing an original document. Texite does not certify compliance with a third party’s requirements.

No data-recovery promise

Texite does not provide cloud storage or account history. Text and undo snapshots are held only in the active page memory and may disappear when you refresh, close the tab, navigate away, or when the browser ends the session. Keep your own copy of important work.

Service availability

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” We may update browser support, counting rules, case rules, cleanup behavior, or page content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or identical results across every browser and language.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Texite is not responsible for losses caused by relying on an unchecked result, losing text that was not saved elsewhere, or using the tools for a purpose that requires professional or third-party verification.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page. Questions about these terms can be sent to hi@texite.info. Do not include sensitive text in your message.
