Texite Privacy Policy
Texite is designed so its core text tools work without sending your writing to a business service.
Your text and results
Text entered into the Word Counter, Case Converter, or Text Cleaner is processed by code running in your browser. Texite does not send the original text, converted text, cleaned text, or undo snapshot to a Texite server.
Tool text remains in the current page memory. It is not written to a database or stored in localStorage by default. Refreshing, closing the tab, or navigating away may remove it, and Texite cannot recover it.
Browser preferences
Texite may store non-content preferences such as reading speed or selected cleanup defaults under a versioned preference key. These settings must not contain your original text, results, clipboard content, or undo history. You can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics and diagnostics
The current site does not require analytics or session replay for the tools to work. If privacy-respecting analytics are added later, events may describe the tool and selected option but must not include text, text fragments, keywords, reversible summaries, clipboard content, or query parameters containing text.
Error diagnostics must exclude textarea values, result text, page captures, request bodies, and other user content. Any future change to analytics, cookies, or diagnostics will be reflected in this policy.
Cookies and local storage
Texite does not use an account cookie or cloud session for its text tools. A future consent setting may be stored only when required for an optional measurement tool. Blocking browser storage does not prevent counting, conversion, or cleaning.
Fonts and third-party resources
Texite serves its interface fonts and brand assets with the site instead of requesting them from a third-party font provider. Core text processing does not depend on an external API.
